Portable Security Solutions
In today’s world of ever changing security threats, rapidly deployable and flexible solutions have become an important alternative in wide area security systems. An effective system must detect and track intruders, identify the nature of the intrusion, communicate with a control center and be quickly transported and setup. Combining a radar, camera and radio on a trailer, the Mobile Detection and Assessment System (MDAS) is a portable security solution deployable in less than an hour. Reliance on local infrastructure is eliminated by including a generator for power and a radio for communicating radar and video data. The MDAS can operate without maintenance for one to three weeks in virtually any climate, weather or lighting condition to provide 24/7, mobile security.
Frequently, multiple sensors are required around a high value asset. The trailer mounted radars can be any combination of the STS-350 or the STS-1400. As needed, a truck mounted system including the STS Control Station could function as both a remote unit and mobile command post.
The MDAS operates as an independent perimeter security system or wirelessly communicates with an existing security center as if it were a permanent installation. With such versatility, the MDAS provides rapid onsite and offsite response to today’s changing security needs.
