POSITION TITLE:

Sales Engineer

Responsibilities:

* Relay customer requirements to the appropriate Engineering Service (SW / HW)
* Create technical presentations
* Give technical presentations
* Give technical demonstrations
* In charge of Network Configuration and Installation
* In charge of issuing and submitting written reports


Relationships:

Direct

* Reports to the Customer Support Manager

Liaison

* Acts as a link between the customers and the Engineering Departments

Non Company

* Keeps contact with the customers


Specifications:

Education

* Degree in Electrical or Software Engineering

Experience

* 6-10 years of experience in technical sales
* Good knowledge of RF Communications, System Hardware, IP Technology, Network Configuration & Installation

* Skills : People oriented, effective communicator, well organized, good presentation, result-oriented, has the ability and willingness to travel
* This is a key position within a team of scientists developing leading-edge technology.

POSITION TITLE:

HARDWARE DEVEOLPER
Primary Responsibilities:

Working in close relation with the Hardware Manager, the successful candidate will be in charge of the different steps involved in firmware development; from its description all the way through to the manufacturing phase. The individual will also be involved in defining and establishing specs. In line with the project methodology, the person selected will also be required to document all work performed.
More precisely, responsibilities are as follows:

  • Take part in the definition, integration, simulation, validation and emission of the documentation pertaining to FPGA & CPLD development.
  • Take part in the development of new electronic circuits (design to manufacturing)
  • Research and qualify new components
  • Record all hardware testing 
  • Write procedures on functional and environmental testing
Experience:
  • Three to five years of experience in FPGA designing and testing using VHDL is a must.
  • Ability to work on the peripherals of various interfaces (memory, microcontroller, DAC, ADC, ...), experienced with modeling and digital signal analysis.
  • Knowledge of the different steps involved in digital and analog circuit development.
  • Up to date know-how on the methods used to analyze and resolve EMI/EMC problem types.
  • Good knowledge of the industrial standards (IPC, ROHS, FCC, CE, ...).
  • Knowledge of Pads, a plus
Education:

Bachelor in Electrical Engineering
Candidate should be bilingual (in English & French, spoken & written), a good team player, self-motivated, possess strong analytical skills and pay great attention to details. This is a key position within a team of scientists developing leading-edge technology.
